Last night one of my bffs, Charisma, surprised me and took me to a Jason Mraz concert downtown…
And since since I was wearing a grey shirt with black feathers on it, I decided to do a coordinating mani that was black with silver feathers on it.
For the mani I used one coat of Wet n Wild Black Creme topped with one coat of Sally Hansen and then used the feather stamp from Bundle Monster plate BM-214 to stamp on China Glaze Millennium feathers.
Thanks so much Char-isma!!! and uhh… blah blah blah.. blah blah.
Frost indeed. Not so sure about the blue part though. I was expecting this to be much more blue and a lot less silver. You can’t really tell so much in photos but in the bottle this polish looks pretty blue. On the nail though the polish comes off as a very, very frost light silver that duochromes to a very pale sky blue, a light pink fuchsia, and at extreme angles a jade-ish leaf green shows up. I hoped to like this polish better but it’s just not nearly as pretty on the nail as it is in the bottle. It’s a sheer, frosty, boring, almost colorless frost. And it bubbled. I have no clue as to why this polish bubbled but I’ve heard others mention they’ve had a problem with bubbles appearing on the nail with this brand. Such a sad, sad disappointment. This was three coats.
