So while I was in Europe I picked up a bottle or two… or ten… of nail polish, and in Spain I was happily surprised to find that their H&M’s still carry polish. Two lines of polish to be exact. And the US stores no longer even carry one line. What a load of bull. Anyways, this is one of the polishes I picked up during my trip on the other side of the pond, in España. Behold Fantasy Ocean. It’s a slightly frosty turquoise-teal filled with tiny gold shimmer. It’s not really unique by any standards but I still like it. And it’s from Spain. And H&M’s there sell polish. And mine doesn’t. And that upsets me.
P.S. If I’m wrong and you live in the US and your H&M sells polish (and I’m not talking about those shitty no-name piece of crap minis) please inform and correct me cause I’ve checked multiples locations in San Diego, LA and New York and no H&M I’ve walked into in any of said cities carry polish. What is going on in the world of H&M??! I’d like to know.
On this cold, cloudy, and soon to be rainy Saturday morning I have for you H&M Bella’s Choice. Considering the Eclipse DVD/Blu-Ray comes out today, I felt this polish was totally apropos. Bella’s Choice in my opinion, is he perfect turquoise blue. It’s got a bit more green to it than China Glaze for Audrey and isn’t as bright as Essie Turquoise and Caicos. The formula was a bit goopy and streaky but it’s totally worth the hassle for the color. This polish is pretty hard to find.. I saw it quite a bit at the bigger H&M stores during the summer but haven’t seen it at all since then. It’s also a bit pricey (I think $4.95 or $5.95 USD) for 0.3 oz. Despite the application troubles and the price, if you find this baby in a store consider yourself lucky and get it while you still can!
