So today is my birthday and this is my birthday mani. It’s Orly Shine as the base with the gradient design done with OPI Mas As A Hatter, Island Girl Aloha Surf and Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday.

And as a side note, my best friend got my the absolute coolest gift ever. She gave me a jar (a Goober jar haha) filled with sea glass picked off the sandy beaches of Okinawa. I. am. obsessed. with. sea glass. Like no joke. And I cried when she gave it to me. Cool story huh?

Sorry for the lack in posting yesterday. I was busy in the morning and meant to most this as soon as I had gotten home but, in case you haven’t heard, all of San Diego County, parts of Orange County, upper Mexico, Arizona, and New Mexico experienced a blackout yesterday afternoon throughout this morning. Good thing the power is back cause all of San Diego was going crazy and running amuck last night! Anyywayyyyss… this is Sinful Nail Junkie gradient layered over Nicole Iceberg Lotus. The base jelly color of Nail Junkie is quite similar to that of Iceberg Lotus so if you’re looking for an opaque polish to layer NJ over, this one works really well! Sinful Nail Junkie is a deep turquoise jelly base loaded with different sizes and shapes of iridescent glitter. If you’ve never tried Sinful Colors before, try this one. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the polish that made me fall in love with Sinfuls!

Hey, everyone! Sorry for the late post. This morning I met up with a bunch of girls form the MUA Nail Board downtown in China Town to grab some dim sum for lunch. Since I was meeting with a bunch of nail polish girls I wanted to make sure that my nails looked extra nice today :0). I decided on using China glaze Sexagon as the base and doing a gradient mani using OPI Mad As A Hatter, Island Girl Aloha Heat, and Deborah Lippmann on top. My kind of glitter bomb!!

Too early to start the Valentine’s Day manis? Not for me!! I used Color Club Lazer Pink as the tip color and then did 4 different layers of Sinful Pinky Glitter in a gradient from the tips to the base of my nails. I wish my nails weren’t so stained and that the glitter was a bit more opaque. I didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted so I might have to try this again. Yay for Valentine’s Day manis!!
